Wedding t-shirts

As I have mentioned in a previous post the Royal Wedding on the 29th April seems to be getting everyone in a tizzy, this week I have seen an influx of retailers offering t-shirts sporting wedding themes and royal themes.

This got me thinking, this is a great opportunity for me to make some money from all my Royal Wedding obsessed friends. By using t shirt printing to make t-shirt designs they can wear when they watch the wedding on TV or go to a street party.

Many of them share much more excitement than I do for the wedding, however they do lack the creative drive to come up with their own t-shirt designs. If I use an online retailer such as Adlogo which offers quick turnaround times I should be able to get the t-shirts designed ready for my friends before the wedding.

Plus I will also save them a trip to a shop to buy one which is great and because Adlogo offers really good prices for bulk buys I can make some money from my friends in the process!

Funny Christmas gifts for family and friends

I have been noticing recently in the run up to Christmas the number of emails I get from various websites enticing me to buy Christmas gifts for my loved ones from them, however the main problem I find is that all of these places just don’t offer the things I have in mind for gifts.

However the other day I did have a brain wave when I received an email from a clothing retailer which was offering printed t-shirts, looking through their site I couldn’t find any that would have humour suited to my friends and family. So I came up with the bright idea of designing my own funny t-shirts using t shirt printing.

Coming up with the slogan’s to use is easy, going off favourite TV shows or films of my family and friends for inspiration, the hard part is choosing t-shirt styles and colours for everyone and getting them done in time for Christmas. Luckily I found an online retailer, Splash Logo, who has a huge range of clothing in different sizes and fits and most importantly in many different colours. They also offer a quick turnaround time, even for bulk orders which mean my funny creative t-shirts will be ready for my family and friends in time for Christmas.

Learning to drive

As I have mentioned before I am currently learning to drive, I have had a few lessons now with my instructor who is from a reputable driving school Lincoln, so far I am finding it fairly easy, and my instructor is great at putting me at ease when I get a bit stressed or flustered. I’m currently working on my manoeuvres, parallel parking, reversing around a corner and three point turn, the latter two I seem to be managing quite well with however I am not so good a parallel parking, my boyfriend says it is because I’m a woman and we can’t park. Obviously he is wrong, I just need more practice, and like everything else I have learnt so far I am sure I will master it.

I also have my theory test coming up soon, which my driving instructor has been helping me with and also my driving school Blackpool like many others offers online tutorials and mock tests to help me prep for my exam. As much cramming as I do though, I am still nervous as I don’t do that well in test scenarios, however I’m hoping with the skills and knowledge my instructor has given me I am confident I can at least pass the theory test first time. I will let you know when I do!

Gifts, gifts and more gifts

This month seems to be a month of birthdays, weddings, births and anniversaries and I am starting to run out of ideas (and money) in the gift department. I start to struggle for ideas when its people I don’t see all too often who are always thoughtful gift givers. After the success of the bay tree flower gift Glasgow to my aunt and uncle I have decided this would be a good option for people that I struggle to buy for.

There is a huge choice of gifts you can choose from which I have mentioned before as well as gorgeous bouquets for every occasion, all of which can be delivered. I really do enjoy looking around my florist in Glasgow for gift inspiration, for friends and myself.

Time to Learn to Drive

Yup, you guessed right, I’ve spent the whole of my life unable to drive – I onced signed up for a driving lesson in my teens, but I hated the instructor and never went back.  After that I just didn’t bother.

Since then I’ve just managed to get by using the bus, taxis and getting lifts off of family and friends, but it really is starting to become more and more of an inconvenience – I feel some what constricted and boxed in not being able to drive somewhere.

So I have decided to take some driving lessons! I’m actually going to be in Birmingham on business for a few weeks, so I am considering taking an intensive driving course, I’ve managed to find a list of driving schools in Birmingham on City Visitor – but I’m really not sure which one to sign up with.
